Answer: This is a great question.  Teaching our children how to interact with dogs, especially ones they don't know, is extremely important for the child's safety.  Rather than reinventing the wheel, we recommend you visit the American Kennel Club web pages that cover a wide variety of important topics covering responsible dog ownership and safety around dogs.  The pages includes a number of helpful activity sheets, educational kits, games and a coloring book.
