Answer: This is a great question.  Teaching our children how to interact with dogs, especially ones they don't know, is extremely important for the child's safety.  Rather than reinventing the wheel, I recommend you visit the American Kennel Club web pages that cover a wide variety of important topics covering responsible dog ownership and safety around dogs.  The pages includes a number of helpful activity sheets, educational kits, games, and a coloring book.
