Otter Lake Animal Care Center is located at 6848 Otter Lake
Road in Hugo, Minnesota. We are 2.3 miles north of
County Road J and 0.7 miles south of County Road 14. For a

The hospital has been under the ownership of Dr. Wayne Scanlan
since 1987 and currently staffs four veterinarians,
all of which are graduates of the University of Minnesota,
College of Veterinary Medicine. Go to the

medical and surgical services and boarding for dogs and cats and
limited services for birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, and
rodents. Otter Lake Animal Care Center also has homeless

We are also pleased to announce pet
grooming at Otter Lake Animal Care
Center. Our experienced groomer is currently accepting
appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 9 am,
noon, and 2 pm and every other Saturday at 9 am and noon. She
is qualified to groom all breeds of cats and dogs.

In addition to our hospital in Hugo, we have a
second facility,
White Bear Animal Hospital, which serves the White Bear
Lake area.
Both facilities sell and recommend Sensible Choice brand pet
foods. We also have available Hills/Science Diet, Purina
CNM, and IVD brands of prescription diets.
