Candy graduated from the University of Minnesota, Waseca in 1989 where she earned her AAS degree in Veterinary Technology. She completed her internship at White Bear Animal Hospital and was quickly hired. She has always had a passion for animals and has known that she wanted to be in the veterinary field since she was very young. She worked the technician world for seven years and loved all areas of the job including patient care and treatment, lab work, radiology and office management. She was hired at White Bear Animal Hospital in March 1997 as their new office manager.
 
Candy has two lovely daughters, Tatiana 17 and Evelyna 11. She absolutely loves her furry friends, Nena an eight year old female Boxer, Gigi a four year old Terrier cross and the newest member of her family, a two year old Mastiff, Prada.

Interests include cooking and catering for large family events, walking, training her dogs, going to Prada's dog shows, vacations and spending quality family time with all of her girls and family.
